it doesnt .. its not a true engine as its running on compressed air ..

Have a look for Gasparin Motors iirc He's a Pole that makes co2 engines for model aircraft. He's made some beautiful engines. I've got a few of the single cylinder ones.

 

He's made V12, V8 straight 6's etc.

Those kits are discustingly expensive, I looked at getting one to build and It costed up at £12k !!!!

I think it may have been on topgear, there was a guy that built a miniture ferrari complete with a running v8 and a working gearbox that would drive like the real thing and was all handbuilt.
