does anybody have pics or diagrams of zx tt automatic jap radiators and what the various stabbings are for, reason i ask is i have just received my new radiator from hollowpoint ( thankyou ) and it seems to have two small diameter additional stabbings ( steel tube) on the drivers side if that makes sense, in addition to the two i was expecting on the passenger side which is where i know the auto box cooler pipes attach,

thanks

Neil

Interesting, I'm sure someone will know mate, I have no idea though, it came off a JDM Auto if that helps. Is yours a UK or something?

no, mine is a jap its on a 93 plate if that makes any odds ???

Sounds like an aftermarket Rad (Pattern) sometimes they come with unnecessary fittings. The TT auto has the oil cooler fittings on the side, the N/A auto are on the bottom of the rad, only difference as far as I know.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't stock, but it's possible I suppose. It was on a car that was virtually standard aside from wheels, air filter and exhaust when we bought it. I was planning to replace it with an alloy one before we broke the car.

right , ive taken my old rad out and the one supplied by hollow point has two additional stabbings on the driver side of the rad, to me they would seem to be for an additional cooler provision of some sort as they mirror the stabbings for the auto box cooler , what was connected to them please alex , can you recall ?????

I can't mate, I think Mikey took the rad out, so he may well know, I'll txt him and ask him to post up here. For some reason, I seem to remember seeing the two pipes on the drivers side of the engine unplugged, but that may be just me remembering it's state whilst we were stripping the car? I didn't unplug any of the oil or water pipes on this rad before I took it out and have never had any other auto ZX.
