First of all, my top pillar gauge pod fills with water, so water is coming down the a pillar somehow. What is the most likely cause? I've already changed the seal around the door and targa hole but still getting in somewhere. Had to save my HKS gauge before it got water damage! :sneaky2:

Secondly, I went to refit my plenum cover today and it wouldnt push down into position at the back, had a look and found that the fuel pressure regulator (I think?) has been bent somewhere between the engine being removed from the past car, sat in the garage for 6 months and then refitted into this car. Would this cause me any problems?

Thanks for any input! :helpsmilie:

not how you have it. you know that fuel smell you sometimes get when the clips need tightening, you know the bloody awkward one that the fuel pressure regulator sits in front of?

on every engine ive had, ive never seen it that way around.

I have consulted the oracle, and his is indeed the correct way

Reason mine looks slightly different (mines on the same LOL twit) i have braided fuel lines doh!

that looks like you might have the regulators are on the wrong sides, looking at the bolt position. either that or that bent on is definatly upside down.

its correct, the only problem is, he hasnt bolted it down.

lol thanks vodkashots, that will teach me to refresh the page before posting when i have left the computer for 15 mins :)

My guage pod used to fill up the same , this isn,t a cure but i drilled a tiny hole underneath the top pod , any water will drain out , usually onto your knee but at least it,s not damaging your guages and gives you some time to get it sorted :whistling:

its only a plastic trim clip & screw that holds it into the square hole in the A pillar, so I'm sure its not that, will have to rip it all out and see whatagwon.

Check the top of the windscreen seal. Mine does same as yours so i took pillow pods off and got someone to spray the front with the hose and found its coming in from middle, running down to sides and coming through half way down pillows. Had nowt to do with either targa seals or water tubes.
