Hi there all,

Really don't know what to do with my interior. At the moment it has the full blue including the dash and carpets etc. Been told its pretty rare and worth keeping.

Problem is I think I don't like it! So need some input on what to do.

1. Keep the blue and put it back to as new.

2. Replace the plastics with a full black interior

3. Go race car theme with buckets and harnesses with it being pretty stripped out.

Cheers all, Rob

Black is where it is, all black including carpet in my opinion. It dosen't date/age. Look in most modern cars and its black.

I went from all blue to all black in mine. The Blue is very very rare, but like you I just was'nt a fan.

There is a fair amount to change - Seats, Dash, doors panels and trim, carpets, A,B and C pillars, roof lining, boot plastics, tailgate plastics, seatbelt covers, boot/fuel flap lever

Could be a good opportunity to do what I did and install the rare but much nicer Series 2/3 Suede trim though.

Keep it blue as it is rare and worth keeping mate.

Problem is mate the tweed is looking pretty manky now and a lot of the plastics are broken. Replacements don't come up that often either.

Only possibility would be to replace the tweed with blue alcantara or similar.

Cheers mate, just had a quick search for alcantara sellers and there isn't many, and then they don't tell you how much it is.:headvswal

I prefer the black, I've got a blue interior in my breaker and its one of the reasons I decided to break it tbh, just didnt look right. If you do decide on staying blue, your welcome to what I've got of the blue stuff, cant remember whats good or damaged though.

Black definately.. I like car mads interior.. worth a look at his pics...

Cheers Mate :pint:
