Hi All,

 

I went to one of these 'wash street' type automatic car washes - the ones that drag you along and smack your mirrors all over the place....

 

Half way through I felt a bump and the drivers seat, in which I was sitting, bumped up from the right hand side a good cm or more (I was too surprised and didn't have a ruler to measure exactly anyway). It was a split second thing but I'd like to know what the hell that was all about - can anybody enlighten me??? Needless to say I won't ever be cleaning my car again :-(

PS. What's the buzzing sound that comes from the little vent type thing in the T-Bar??

That buzzing sound is a fan in the vents used to blow air on to the cabin temperature sensor. It for you AC.

 

 

Thanks for the info. How do I stop it? I read something about it a few months ago on here but I can't find it now :-(

Its a take out job and clean it.

 

Mine makes a noise but you can only just hear it when there is no outside noise
