Hi Guys,

The previous owner of me Z damaged the door mirror and glued it back like he bought a the National Glue stock and had to use it by the sell by date.

Anyway peeled some of the glue away and the only bit that is broken is the black plastic section. That you screw into to get the mirror to attach to the plastic mount attached to the door. Its the bit that the mirror axis upon to fold back.

I was wondering if I araldite this section back together what are the chances of it folding bsck again. When I pres the fold switch I can hear the motor whirring but no folding????

Mark,

I have a complete spare mirror casing, passenger side, in black if you want it.

As for the foldy bit sometimes the motors stick or the gears wear out etc. Jeff TT wrote up something about taking them apart (try a search) but it's 90% common sense really.

Thanks Mate, it does look fairly easy, I always ask then investigate though!! I might take you up on the casing
