i take it you didnt read what i put?

How you drive is totally up to you, but no need to make people aware on the forum of the speeds your doing on a public road. its not my personal view, though agree with it, its the view of the club.

So by all means, drive it like you stole it, but there are ways of asking and getting the same answers with out divulging what you get up to on a public highway.

yes i have and said sorry to the way i said it. but didnt exspect all this to kick off. its just stupid

lol...

You think you are pretty much invincible until you are either involved in a crash or someone you care for is..

or you get older and kids come along..

Yeap, the 'ol 18 and bulletproof.

If you still have HICAS installed and you lower the car it could be messing up your toe, may seem fine on an alignment machine. but causing problems when the hicas kicks in

What you explain is also quite commenly caused by lack of downforce, you havn't removed the big wing that is on it in your avatar pic by chance?

Anything else been changed on the car since the last time you took it to these speeds?

no the wings been on for 7 years and hicass was removed by zedworld

Let's not forget that a big wing could cause this problem as much as cure it. A big wing with the wrong geometrics might cause uplift instead of downforce.

Hmm he probably had the wing on before, thought path would then be going along the lines of now that it's been lowered it is being sucked down more in the front, which has effected the rear being sucked down to the road, thus he notices the wing uplift?

Riggers can you tell us what else has changed on the car since you last wound it up like that, and if the wing was on before/ if it is still on now?

How did zedworld remove the hicas, did they n/a subframe it or use a lock bar, if they used a lock bar it could still be stuffed bushings where it joins the hub.

Otherwise i'd be going with the wing theory previously mentioned.

Also what speed rating are your tyres?

It will say on the side ie 265/35/17 W

The letter at the end is your speed rating.

Well i can't imagine you'd be carrying frozen ice around in your boot so i won't ask.

I'd be checking the bushings where the lock out bar joins the hub, and let me know the speed rating letter on your tyres.

il haft ta get in at the garage and get them to look at em . the worst part of this is i only lowerd it cus the standerd shocks poped. iv spent a bom to make it worse

If it's a standard cheapo lock out bar using the standard arms and bushes that's a possibility, if it's the DW kit it's unlikely as that removes the old bushes and uses new poly ones instead. I'm not sure how ZedWorld does the lockout tbh? But I assume however you ask them to, lol. Of course your HICAS bushes could have been fine when the lockout bar was installed, then gone after changing the suspension over. Mine had a lockout bar on it when I got it, then I changed out the lowered suspension that was on it, because it was seized on a couple of shocks and my HICAS bushes went/became apparent as gone when I did. So I fitted the DW kit. The reason I noticed come to think of it, was because after fitting the new suspension, the car felt like it was all over the bloody place!

chears il get them looked at. i cant get the thing on my little ramps enymore.

So because we have fast cars we must speed on the road? no it's called a race track.

Why is okay to imply is, the way is seems you think it should be implied is so you can't get nicked for it by the boys in blue, rather than recognising it is behaviour we do not partake in.

It's the guys like you that think it is okay to do this kind of stuff so we dont get caught, that makes it so i can't be driving along enjoying my weekend without being pulled over and accused of being a street racer for having some nice modifications to my car.

We? Who is we? You assume you can speak for everyone on this site simply because you think your opinion is more valid than anyone elses? I'll make my own mind up thanks, I'm not going to change what I do just because your opinion is different to mine. You drive at the speed limits in your modified car and enjoy taking it on track once every blue moon - but I'll keep doing what I do and no amount of holier-than-thou preaching from you will make any difference.

If you feel the need to continue, feel free to fill your boots.

The autobahn is unrestricted and everybody who drives on it knows that, and those who do not drive at the high speeds do not enter the fast lanes. they also go through stringent driver and license testing to get a license that will allow them to do that. the autobahns are also VERY well maintained.

Funnily enough, you arn't on the autobahn. you arn't even in that country. so it is not the same whatsoever, for the reasons stated above.

You can have all the time and place in the world. when it goes wrong, you arn't in control anymore at high speed. Driving a 20 year old car on public roads at 160mph, yeah sounds really smart.

So, you think everyone in Germany is a driving God? That somehow Germans have superior spacial awareness than all other nations? It's fecking common sense - you don't have to be a member of Mensa to drive a car at high speed. You also have assumed that Riggers is bereft of any sense of rationality and cannot decide for himself when it is appropriate to use the power available or not. All he gave were numbers - not an indepth report to traffic and road conditions - you may have assumed he was weaving in and out of traffic, but this was not necessarily the case. Not everyone needs someone telling them what to think and do.

Clearly at the giddy age of twenty-whatever, you are a leading authority on everything - good for you. You are also so smart, that you can make conclusions about people's intelligence from a few posts on an internet forum - I'm not so sure who is the stupid one: one who assumes he is more intelligent than everyone else, or someone who has an open mind?

I do not need patronising either. I too have lost friends through car accidents, I think most people have. Speed may have been a contributing factor, but more probably it was a lack of ability, more than the outright use of speed that killed them.

I do not condone driving at 160mph, it's something I have never done myself (except as a passanger), what I'm saying is: most people break speed limits at some point. If you don't then fine - enjoy posing in your car. I didn't buy my car for that purpose and I shall drive it how I want and suffer the consequences of my actions for doing so. I do not need some keyboard warrior preaching to me (or others) how to live my life. You make your choices and I'll make mine. The difference between you and me (of which there are many) is that I don't enforce my viewpoint onto others and then become insulting when they do not agree. I suggest you save your time and energy for someone who is willing to listen and preferably, try to earn their respect before resorting to infantile insults.

lmao, i'm not even going to dignify that with a response, thanks for reittirating my point though.

But please do quote me of where i TOLD you what to do, and where i thought my opinion was greater than anybody elses, you seem to be the one making the assumptions.

Oh also please do point out where i started making "infantile insults"

I won't be replying again in this thread, i'm going to be the adult and walk away.
