hey guys, ive not long got a N/A manuel. it sounds awsome and runs perfect, but i want a TT, im thinking ahead here,im gona want to put a TT motor in it or get a new TT all together as ive had one before and i miss the power. just out of interest... could i bolt up a tt straight to the n/a geabox. would it be a case of, just swap the engine, loom.ecu over? or is there a lot of hidden issues?

Speak to Baz, he attempted a TT into an NA swap and then bailed when he got offered a really good TT that just needed the motor swapping out, which of course he already had in the garage waiting to go in the NA. That said, before that offer came along, he had gotten quite far down the line of the NA to TT conversion.

ok cheers mate, i had one before , was ideal for me cos i got it for £1400, body work was tatty but i spray cars by trade so thats perfect. just want a solid motor.

I got mine for £1300, TT that is, had to replace the sills and rebuild the top end of the engine, plus change the suspension as it was fubar, upgrade the front brakes as they were standard, replace the standard ECU etc. etc. etc. Has worked out to be about a £6K car so far, lol. We're still putting money into it now too! Gotta love the money pit, I mean 300zx :D

My NA already had a TT manual box and prop to suit so that helped, you'll need all the intercoolers and pipework unless you go FMIC, the power steering line along the crossmember is different to allow for intercoolers too, theres quite a lot of guides telling you how to do it so I'd advise having a read but dont get too scared by it, you are better getting hold of a TT complete car so you can swap whatever you need, thats what I did and so much easier.
