hey i got a Firstline lcd monitor/tv. and it only turns on wen it wants to, wen its on it works perfik, but sometimes mostly after its bin on a while, it wont come bak on again. the light from red to blu comes on, but no pwer to screen?

 

any suggestions?

anywhere on the board really, they are the cylindrical things, usually green or black.

Look for ones like on the right in this picture.

It's usually either the very large reservoir capacitor (after the mains rectifier) or the smaller ones on the DC output side of the switched-mode PSU in my experience.
