as title suggests, clutch is very audible when pressing the pedal, hope its not a sign that the master's on its way out. it was once an automatic if that makes any difference.

If it sounds like a "whimpering animal"......... lol..... it could be your clutch booster failing. But, don't worry..... you can simply delete the pipes from the B. bar and brake servo unit and have a heavy clutch. I have had this for many years now, without any problems, except a bigger left leg.....

Nissan sell the clutch booster for approx £450..... :w00t:

No i don't think its anything that bad, it just squeeks when its pushed, its deffinatly louder outside the car than in the car though.

its an RRRs but IF it is simply the pedal that squeaks yuo could slide the seat back and get head and shoulders in the footwell facing upwards (-- this is like a mega Yoga postition)and have a look at the pedal mounting fabrication. . Yes you might have to remove a bit of the duct to see better but its easy.

The pedal fabrication houses a spring at the hinge. each end is a small plastic washer/spacer. this goes astray/wears thru. douse area in WD40 (other spray oils are available etc ;) ) the oil will clinge for many months and all thats left is a slight tiny 'whoosh' as the rod passes thru the bulkhead material.
