what do recirc's sound like if u have a problem

ive got a funny noise ,(like gurgle)comin from the rerar of my engine,this sound increases when u accelerate in time with rev'ing,(dont think its the valves)think its vacum related?

does anyone have any ideas?????

It depends... if you have a hearing problem then they don't appear to make a noise at all biggrin.gif

also when i stand in front of the engine and rev the car,i get a clicking noise from ascd pump,or that area?

any help will be appreciated.jay

AIV valves need draining by the sound of it wink.gif Remove the rear section of the front arches to gain access. They fill up with water over time and start to gurgle as the air passes through....

it sounds vacum related but could also be mechanical????

Andy is rite remove the AIV's or empty them
