evc 4 set up

Have had my hks evc 4 fitted a while now but was just looking around andy's site and there was a page with setup instructions. In this it says to set the offset to 118-120 because of the long pipes, but in the proper hks instruction it says to leave at 100.

What has anyone else got theirs set to and what does this do anyway?

    I set mine up for 100, could not work out whether it was right or not but boost seems ok.
