Following my earlier thread regarding the crap bradband and crappier customer service I received from TalkTalk, I have now ditched them. For good!!

 

I always kept my telephone with BT and have just switched my internet to them as well. And whilst I still live at the arse-end of the exchange, it seems BT can deliver a much faster braodband service. Over 10 times faster to be exact - and that's at peak time, with the suggestion that it might also improve after a 10 day "bedding in" period!!

 

It was so easy to connect and activate their home-hub jobbie too. I was back online within about 10 minutes, without a hitch....

 

.....Plus I can sign up to their fibre-optic service when it becomes available here in March 2012 for even faster web access.

Im with talk talk and have been for 5 years. They are ALWAYS ringing me trying to get me to have a mobile etc. Ive had enough. Problem is, ive never has a problem with my phone or internet and its under £20 a month inc line rental..

I am with BT Rich and its crap lol but its not there fibre optic which is comming in the new year so cant wait to be upgraded.

BT suck as do Talk Talk......Ive been with both.I was/am with Pipex an was happy but Pipex have been taken over by Talk Talk..so now im about to go to Sky for the tv/broadband package

Talk F'n Talk..... lol... I guess that can't be all bad.... but I know too many horror stories....

having 30mb Virgin media pachage installed tomorrow, its buch cheaper then sky.

I used to be with talktalk but switched to BT after getting pissed off with talktalks service and attitude! Didn't want to go to BT but had no choice as had been local loop unbundled by talktalk. BT was great to start but I have had more problems (probably ten fold) with BT than I ever had with talktalk, unfortunately I had to take an 18 month contract.
