My New Z has been here before! i was just brozing the cars for sale section and i saw an old advert. silver 92 na for sale. and its my new Z i got, i followed the thread links and saw some history, man is it different now. glad i found all this, gives me some past issues, glad to say the guy i got it from rectified most issues im aware of, or so he sez.apparently vodkashots owned it for abit? and to my suprise mid wales zx, who im sure at met at lee dents house?

I remember now - that's the one Vodkashots had to weld a new front end on after he stacked it into a tree! I remember thinking at the time it was quite an ambitious project for someone with no experience with welding and the onset of Parkinson's disease - but hey, if it's still driving straight then he must have done a so so job of it. Just keep an eye on all the sawdust he stuffed into the gearbox too, it must be about ready for some fresh stuff now.

 

Anyway, pleased you managed to find out about your car's history!

That's a Lady Gaga if ever I saw one: looks ok from behind but... Jees, what a snout!

 

In all fairness, I've seen much worse and black is deffo the best colour for that bumper. The rear 3/4 view looks really great - I'm liking those smoked rear lenses, I assume they are legal too? Wheels are pretty nice. Stick an '89 or '99 spec bumper on it (or any other bumper for that matter, IMO) and it will look pretty slick!

hhaaa that gaga gag was world class. it drives smooth, very responsive. all is well. so i gues the welding was good lol. soon as i get it on the road, or put it thru a mot im sure itl have some demons tho. i think the same bout the front bumpa. dont like the cream suede either. but in fairness. its alrite lol. glad i swapped my bm for it, although that was a thing of beauty, cant beat a Z tho

You'll have to get it over to lees, i'll get mine there and take some pics of the three (all black!) together :)

oooh hell yea, im gona get it on the road soon as i possibly can, goin for job intaview 2mra, so mite have some funds, need the bank to lend me 2k so i can insure the thing to lol. i swear insurers are theives with suites on lol
