Which Kenwood did you go for? I just fitted a KDC-V7521 and an RTO amp and I am really pleased.

JOHN,can you remember ya wiring when u installed ya kenwood

colours im intersted in are red(live)

yellow(live)

blue white stripe(live)

was ur blue for the aerial?and which colour went with it(orange)?????

jay

Blue is defo for the aerial. red or yellow is permanent live the other is ignition live. The orange i think is for the lights if i remember correctly, so it dims it.

BLUE - Switched live (ignition switch)

YELLOW - Battery live

BLACK/RED - Power Antenna

BLACK - Earth

These are the original loom colours.

As long as you get these right , just swap

the others about till you get it.

BLACK/RED is live to your aeriel via a timer

Q Does your stereo work properly because

on my car :

ORANGE

LIGHT GREEN

both go to rear amplifier.

In other words your aeriel should work

if you connect up the BLACK/RED!
