As above, I want to remove the air sampling unit cos the fan is doing my head in:headvswal its sooooo noisy.

 

It looks like it should just unplug but the damn thing wont budge, is there a knack to this, there look as though there are tiny retaining clips but.....:hammer::hammer::hammer: Heeeeelp

I sprayed mine with wd40 never made a noise since

 

I tried that but didnt work, giving it a wack had a temporary effect on it lol

If you unplug the fan multiplug you are also unplugging the sensor, this will cause a fault with the cabin climate control, best to identify the fan cable and snip just that one.

Cheers Jeff, climate control doesnt work any way lol, been out and it all gets warm in the car, I'll keep the unit just in case....

 

Have you taken the heater hoses of any of the breakers yet?

I found that without this unit, the CC was completely hopeless and just did stupid things like blast you with hot air in the height of summer etc..
