I run an RB26 as a daily driver for over a year, so shouldnt really forget what it looks like :lol:

Yep had it running, engine loom was a nightmare!!, taken me 3 months to get it to this stage should be around 620bhp at the rear wheels by next weekend when its mapped!! and if am really lucky I should be driving it to zedworld on the 3rd of december!!!!

Nah it doesnt clear the bonnet, If I wanted that i had to use a a different sump to cleat anti roll bar! but getting a custom made one instead.

2.6 skyline motor ......very very tunable my mate Matty j has an R32 with fully built RB26 and is pushing over 1000bhp at the wheels without nitrous .....stll got some work to do on his to get it ready for 10 OTB and drag meets for next year .....but that will be epic when its done ....had a blast in it when it was at about 800rwhp and it was mental fast then .....

Hi I dont know who Janaid is am afraid, He might know me as this aint the first time i've done this conversion. I ve been playing with zeds coming 14 years now and owned over 30 of em so am pretty well known around Birmingham but hoping to meet a lot more enthuaists at the zedworld meet on the 3rd of december!! :winkiss:

I had 2 skyline gtr's one got written off:no:, I then it bought back off the insurance company but still costing quiet a fair bit!! overall this is 10k Project when its all done hopefully within the next few weeks! Will be up for sale as I want to attempt the 4wd Zed with the same running gear!!:w00t:

Wow, you must really enjoy a challenge? Just wondering what it is that makes you want to do all that, instead of just spending the money on tuning the Skyline? I mean, its a lot of work and a Skyline (in any variant) is hardly a shabby motor.

 

I've heard of people doing similar kind of things with Capris and Cossies, but tbh Fords are like building with lego compared to skylines and zeds.

 

I would love to see the face of the scooby driver who gets whipped off the lights in the wet by a zed though. Oh, I get it now! Hope it handles well..
