ive been changing the orange bulbs in my front indicators for silver ones and I've noticed the drivers side one has a small crack in it so it's gotta go!! Spotted them crystal ones on eBay that look nice but it says they might not fit imports? Who's got them already? Are they a pain to fit?

Ok. Other half says he will fit em so no probs now. If it all goes horribly wrong it will be all his fault!!

First off is a UK or JDM model ?

 

I've only experience with JDM one but the indicators I've had have a mix of bulb holder size, especially for the little corner light. On JDM originals they seem to use a fairly large bulb holder but on the replacements they have a smaller hole, like the bulb holder in the carrots, so may need to switch that part of the loom. It is just plug and play if you have the alternate wiring

There was a guy on here 2 days ago looking for some stock indicators, he bought some crystal ones off ebay and 1 wouldnt work and he didnt want to wire it, not exactly much to it so ou could sort it out easy enough, see if he wants to do a swap?

it's a jdm so sounds like a bit of tinkering and swearing may be involved. Nevermind, men enjoy that sort of thing :laugh:

Tend to be a bit of a squirrel with anything I take off and put it away for " just in case"

If it's a JDM it may well have the wiring/bulb holder in the corner as the idea was for the light in the indicator housing to come on when you indicated that particular side :clap:

 

Mine did but I could not get them to work so I just wired into the sidelight wires in the front fogs, I have kept my sidelights here, as well as the bright LED sidelights which gives the Z a nice wide looking front stance which are also visible side on :biggrin:
