Fitting a Geodesy (speed camera thingy)

Trying to decide where to fit this. Don't want an ugly black lump on top on my nice swoopy dashboard, so I guess will need the re-readiating antenna. So where to put the unit? The best place I have come up with so far is:

Any ideas? TIA - Gio

What about cutting a Geodesy shape hole in the tweed trim near the steering wheel(bit under the cruise control lights)?

If you look around the steering column that bit of tweed is approx 1.5" viewable, the panel just unscrews(2 mins) so its easy to get to.

Trey - Thanks for the input - I just went to sit in to check. Being a tall git, I don't think I could see the unit if it was put on the tweedy stuff to the l or r of the steering wheel.

The only place might be on the r of the console just above knee height (ie above and to the left of my left knee).

But the eyeline means looking down and away from the road which is why I'm thinking about in the centre console as per pic.

Jaylox - will do. Looks great in principle and gets good write ups but, of course, doesn't do zip against radar/laser or mobile traps or mobile fuzz. OTOH anything qhich improves the odds can't be all bad!

Cheers All - Gio

Came across this GPS based product - www.originbluei.com

Has had good reviews and compares well with Geodesy.
