On going issue with speedo

Hi all, I had a manual gearbox change a few yrs back and my speedo has never been right since. I have alot of rumours that there is an issue with the signal etc and a need a resistor somewhere.

Or could it be the speed sensor as sometimes it works then sometime it don't, then the steering goes tight i (the norm effect). Its annoying as my old auto box had a new sensor on and no problems.:cursing:

    Hi Jon, its been a long time since i saw your dash so cant remember if it was a Jap with a convertor or whether you had UK clocks. If you have a speedo convertor fitted most likely to be that thas causing the intermittent speedo issues.
