just wanted to see if anyones got any idea's for my Z

car was running fine the day before. Got in it dismorning and it started but i then stalled it :death: and now the Z wont fire up. The engine turns over but does not spark to life.

I have charged the battery just in case. Was thinking it could be the fuel pump or PTU (bit strange as it was fine the day before)

Anyone else got any ideas for me to check?

a regular problem if you start the car from cold and it stalls....

I've had it myself.

the way to solve it is to remove the fuel pump fuse (under the bonnet drivers side near the fire wall).

turn the car over for a while to clear any fuel.. it may even nearly start (but obviously won't due to the fuse removal), put the fuse back in and bingo should be fine again...

Thanks man, only had the car a month and its a propper mission getting it running how i want it. Will try this tonight

Nice little trick there thanks. Luckily I won't have to break my back getting the fuse out if it happens to me either, as I have a fuel cut switch within easy reach D:

good idea... but taking the fuel pump fuse out is easy... it's NOT in the drivers side kick panel... it's under the bonnet beside the break power assisting unit .... not really a back breaking job.. :)
