Clutch questions?

Looks like the stock clutch on the shortie' may well be on its way out as it's started slipping recently, so a few questions fellas, if I may:

1. I've got an old spare Exedy twin plate clutch that Marty kindly gave me when he dropped off the shortie', it just needs a new plate/s. Can you buy replacement plates for an Exedy twin plate clutch or do you have to buy a complete clutch package?

2. The Centreforce clutch off my old LWB (which was supposed to be replaced with a new Z1 clutch by a certain garage but we won't go there...) was in good order when it was run on my old zed, if the Exedy isn't an option would it be worth fitting the Centreforce clutch as a temporary measure?

3. Pros and cons of replacing the clutch yourself (using ramps having never done it before) vs Paying a local garage to do the job for you (ie. is it an expensive job?)

I hope that ^^^^^ all makes sense

thanks
