Some of you know that I bought Steve Mochan's engine a while back. Well I have stipped most of it down and so far it's all good :balloon:

 

Over the winter I will be getting a competent engine builder to put this all back together, but for now I just want to check to see what I have got for my money and to clean and prep what I can to save a few £££'s.

 

(Not that I didn't trust Steve, more the guy who assembled it)

 

Okay don't have a clue guys but any idea what does this this means on top the piston? They are apparently Wiseco pistons (oversized)

also on the under side of the piston is the number 343v I think.

 

 

The camshafts are Tomie 260 degree camshafts with solid lifters and harder springs will I need to pull the camshafts to confrim this? :helpsmilie:

cams look pretty aggressive to me, ive got a set of weiscos in my civic and they have a similar stamped number on the face but cant be 100% sure

m875 and m88.... 87.5mm and 88mm at a guess??

 

m88 thought that might be the case, any idea what does this equate to i.e what would bored out engine run say a 3.1 litre?
