However, I built this component of my built tuned for Rockford fosgate 10" P2's but now thinking about P3's. Bearing in mind I already cut it down, I may be butchering it again! lol.

I know you have been at it all night but it needs a bit more sanding lol!!! try using a rubber block and it will all get rid of the high and low spots for a perfect finish :)

Well it looks even more like an owl now, Ive got big wide dark eyes for it :p

 

I said I needed to re-jig the bog volume because of going for MUCH more powerful speakers...... 21 Litres ON THE DOT... Woohooo!

 

Yeh yeh yeh... bit more sanding yet lol. I have it all reinforced with extra fibreglass, odd spots and pockets smoothed out, and wadded/padded inside now.

 

 

Okay, maybe a few of you are scratching your heads wondering what this thing is about. It is only the central part to the plan for the most practical yet powerful boot install I could muster up. In the end, I want to be able to place the targas side by side in the boot, keep my roller blind, have a rear strut brace, be able to get at all the rear lighting without having to take it all out, fit these, 2 big 6x9's, a 2 channel and 4 channel amp, and have room for shopping, tents etc and be able to remove the sub box etc if I want to.

 

The odd shape at the top of the box, is where the top inner edge of the targa rest.
