Yes Aaron they can be fitted without removing the engine but be aware that the bolts on the down pipe to turbos break off easily.Lee

the current donwpipes/ turbos have recently been fitted, so i hope theyre 'loose' so to speak, had a garage look at the car and they said its ' too big a job' :-(

anyone up to the challenge? if not i will sell them.

Aaron mate,

I had mine fitted at the garage i use for my mot, the guy has had 2 Zed,s, but he said they were a pain in the butt to do,

Oh and he is based at Wednesbury, so a bit to far to travel eh lol

yep seeing as ive never heard of it. means its too far. :-)

i have the same fitted to my UK. Can be done with engine in. if you have a UK, you also need to remove the precat cat. Mine had a couple of stubborn nuts. but done. Sounds great with the Japspeed boxes.

Zedworld fitted my AMS ones which are larger than the Japspeed ones that they replaced. Jamie told me it was a b*gger of a job and I believe him but it was done with the engine in!

how much they charge you?

I can't tell exactly mate because they fitted the whole new exhaust from downpipes to backbox. May be best to PM the guys and get a rough quote? I was having other jobs done at the same time like single-piece prop and HID conversion so I was more worried about the overall price (which as usual was reasonable!)

wanna fit mine boldy??

I,ll pass bud ! lol i did mine on a 2 poster lift at work . :thumbup1:

Me too, even with the box out, I still had to undo the driver's side turbo to get some stubborn bolts, not an easy job on axel stands, but can be done with plenty of blood, sweat and beers :)

I must have been very lucky , all the bolts on the tubs came undone really easy and once cracked loose i could undo them by hand !!:thumbup:

Still bl00dy fiddly to get to though . lol
