been up the garage trying to fit this lower brace but i cant get it to sit properly in position! it wont clear the lower rad pipe outlet of my koyo rad, anyone who bought this brace fitted it with a koyo/type rad and do you have a pic of it seated properly?

(JapSpeed) A longer centre piece is definately required, they are very close to the end of the thread when fitted. I am all over the country at the moment and when I get a chance I will post some photo's of mine fitted (thanks for the prompt HollowPoint).

We are currently in the process of looking into this, so hopefully all will be sorted soon! :)

I'll hold on to both of mine until you come back to us, if you manage to make one that fits around the rad pipe and has the longer centre pieces, I'll exchange them rather than get my money back, would really like to have these fitted on both cars. Anything that improves handling has to be good on a RWD car.

sent mine back today, will see what japspeed come up with first and wait till others with koyo's have them fitted first otherwise its gonna get expensive sending them backwards and forwards.

Guys we are looking into this and will be making any modifications that need to be made to the centre piece. We currently have someone fitting this onto there 300zx with a koyo rad as a test to see what issues there are, once we have the info then i will let you all know the plan. we are more than happy to accept a return and refund you in full in the mean time.

Ill send pics over tomorrow when i get mine over the pit.

Is it worth keeping this item then if there is possibly a new center piece being designed? Or should I just sell it to the lads on DW?

Hold fire i reckin Japspeed may just send out new centre sections woulld save them on carraige

Hey Guys we have not forgotten about this and are still looking into resolving this and getting an item made specific for the 300zx.

 

As soon as everything is complete I will be letting you all know first!

So do we hold on to our current braces that dont fit and await a new centre or send em back??

As stated guys when the problem came to light, we are happy for you to send the item back for a full refund and once we get the issues sorted we will offer you the same price on the item.

 

We would rather you have your money back then keep hold of an item that you cant use.
