Sick now (clutch)

Hya,

 

Sick now, clutch slipped replaced it and fly wheel was fine for a little bit then started slipping again so tonight replaced the slave cyilnder and guess what trying to bleeding it and noticed fluid coming into car under behind pedals so is this a broke master cyilnder now?

 

dont know wether to fix it or just break it for parts as the rear arches and sills need doing as well:-(

 

car is even worse than before can not get a gear now so parked on the street.

is it turbo or n/a ? its a piece of p to change take an hour tops so dont get dis hearted just walk away and go back another day !

its a turbo mate, was an auto but the guy i got it off done the manual conversion bud.

To be honest i dont know, but i do know it drove fine from Glasgow to Teesside fine 200miles is then slipped so changed clutch and was fine for a couple of hundred mile then started slipping again lol.

 

only noticed the fluid from the master cyilnder today after fitting the new slave:-( its now even worse than before fitting the new slave.

did you change the pressure plate ? also if pipes have air in it can cause all sorts of probs. just fit new master theyre not expensive !

 

is there an air pipe that goes through the bulkhead just above the master cylinder ?

Yes mate replaced clutch pressure plate and flywheel and today slave cyilnder, bled the system for ages then noticed the fluid behind the pedals. as for the air pipe not sure will have to have alook tommorrow but tried to bleed the clutch with engine on and off.

have you back bled it i find its the easiest way and have you got original piping ie a bleed nipple on the inner wing by hicas solenoid ?
