Yes UK spec!!! Andy should have plenty of pics to use though, could confuse a buyer not in the know.

To be fair, Andy is a very trustworthy and genuine guy, I have had many dealings with him recently and in the past. I can only assume it was pulled from a N/A 300ZX.

Not really having a go at Andy personally but then he is in business and should be on top of stuff like this, e-bay is a great tool for businesses to use that do not have a shop.

Distance selling rules apply to ebay sales and misdescribing sale items by either text or photo`s is bad practise, only needs a note to explain its a library pic.

but the point being if he sends the correct part he is advertising nobody should be particularly interested in the picture as the average person wouldnt know it was not the right photo ! unless you were being picky :-(

So what is the point of having photo`s on then?

if i buy anything i wanna get the one in the pic otherwise i may not like the condition of it. Its like putting up an ad for breaking zeds then rather than putting up a pic of the zed your breaking just put up a pic of all the nice zeds you own

Do you think i take a pic of every item i make

would you know what ecu it was by the picture or by the description ?

you must be the new funky si :tt2:

agreed its better to use exact pictures of the item your selling but when you have so many zed parts its better for people to ask you for what they want rather than what you list if you know what i mean.

as for hear say and what people get told ! im not on here anymore to defend myself much so am unfortunately open to idle gossip :chris:

No not at all by the picture.

If the pic isn't what you get then under eBay rules you are open to a refund due to item not being described as listed by sending a different part to the one in the pic

thats why its easier sometimes to put a generic picture. Everyone makes mistakes perhaps he forgot or perhaps he just assumed nobody would mind as long as they received the correct item. I have done it alot but can see why people would prefer to see the exact item they are buying. I would.
