Hey lads, lads!

Some bloke was talking about my 300, he used to have one. He reckoned it was a good idea to pour some (maybe half a pint?) of clean oil down into each sill as this would stop corrosion.

He reckoned there was a good place you could get access just by the rear seat if you pulled the trim back a bit.

What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea? Anyone done it?

Thanks in advance!

I ordered 2x750ml aerosols of the Dynax S50.

I sprayed it into the sills using the supplied 'wand' via the sill plate holes.

It dripped out of both sides. The number and spacing of the drip-points seemed the same on both sides so I guess these are drain holes of some sort?

Anyway, I looked in via one of the sill plate holes (not easy) and everything appears to be covered.

Thanks for all the advice gents. :)

Brilliant stuff in my opinion,

not long done both sides on mine and it will probably out last me.

Mind you, I am an old git.
