clutch slip again

Hi,

 

Just put a new clutch, flywheel and thrust bearing in my zed as the old one was slipping, also changed the crank seal just for good measure but its slipping again any idea? it was ok when the clutch was first changed, only done around 150miles.

 

the car is a standard TT manual.

no mate, brand new, could it be the slave cylinder ect? thing that gets me done it yesterday once but tonight all the time when you put your foot down. to be honest when i changed the clutch the disc looked not bad:-(

 

it was a auto but the guy i bought it off done the manual conversion could he have done something wrong ect?

Over adjusted clutch pedal? check the pedal with the engine running and make sure there is some free play.

Also check the flexi line as these can implode and hold on to line pressure after you have taken your foot off the pedal and it keeps the clutch slightly depressed although the pedal returns up, a faulty master cylinder can have the same effect, fluid lock can also be a problem if the pipework is close to the exhaust header and the fluid has too much moisture in, try changing the fluid.
