:clap:For all you north wales (and honorary north wales) members:clap:.

im sure there will be a lot of talk of this tomorrow evening, but as not all of us will be able to make it, i thought ide open up the subject here.

After a bit of a 'debate' about the running of the club in a few post JAE posts it has come to light that there may be some club funding available for each region to aid us in what basically could be classed as 'good times'

obviously im not just saying we should ask for a donation to the bar tab lol, but there may be fundage available for the right application, so as a region we should decide what could we do to make the club, and our experiences in the club more enjoyable :-)

what do you want from your club thats specific to our region?

many things have been discussed which could push the club forward as a whole (next years JAE etc) and i think thre will be a fair bit of discussion within the committee about these suggestions (see this post for some of the suggestions) but i was wondering what we, as a regional group would like out of our club?

I would like to see us get involved with some local shows. Bodelwyddan Castle, Tatton Park, Cholomondeley Castle to name but a few.

Tatton Park has two two day shows per year, which you can camp overnight at for £10.00. A great show to attend.

Cholomondeley Castle also has two classic shows per year, just one dayers, but still great to attend. They also hold the Pagent of Power there which is the third show at this venue, I have never been to the Pagent of Power, but believe it's fantastic.

Bodelwyddan Castle hold a classic car show once a year and I think a couple more places over North Wales way.

But the best one to aim for has to be the Peak Run

Organised and hosted by the Derwent Vally area of the Triumph Sports Six Club, I was one of the lucky ones to go on this in it's infancy, it has now grown and is a multi mark event, it is held over a weekend, and camping is available for 4 nights (they hire out a whole camp site). It's around £35.00 per car (not per person), that includes camping and the cost of the actual run, it is very well organised, and I think most would really enjoy themselves. There was allsorts of vehicles there this year, but I was the only Z32 there.

They organise things in the clubhouse, and just have 4 brilliant nights, of course if you can't do the 4 nights, there are other options.

Sorry, enough of me waffeling on.....lol, just some ideas buddy.
