My son has his build on the supra owners club in the project section 'GOLD RUSH'

 

Every nut and bolt has been gold plated along with various other parts, also alot of polishing and chroming has been done.

 

Engine bay smoothed and painted with all looms hidden and fuse box, battery ect relocated in the boot.

we was on holiday. would have liked to have gone though.

that has to be the nicest looking engine i've ever seen.

I really would like to know where people find the time and money to do things like this.. It looks immense. Bet it must have cost a fortune? Even if it didn't, it still looks expensive - so job well done! Your son can be well proud (and dad too judging by the post!).

He does all the polishing and gold plating himself- he is a trader for the supra club doing that side of things.

 

I showed him the comments earlyer and he said thanks guys for all the comments.

lovely exercise and fantastic way to finish the car but boy o boy is taht gonna be an ass to keep clean. i do also feel liek ive been hit round the head by the bling branch. i dont doubt upclose and in person in teh sun tahst a serious thing of beauty

cleaning aint a problem, he loves it.
