my dads had his triumph stag for over 2 years now and he finally managed to source a hard top for it i know these are rare!, thought would share pic and your thoughts:

Always had a soft spot for stags over the years, but i remember them being much sexier back then, how times change an opinion lol

i thinks its ok but not my cup of tea he's spent alot on it and its only got 38k genuine miles, the engine been completely rebuilt he fed up of it breaking down lol

i love the stags ....great with the t bar roof off look ......origional v8 was a brittle temperamental lump ...lots changed to rover v8 ....there are afew with TVR v8s fitted

 

i still think it should have had a straight 6 twin cam lump in there

The TVR V8 is a Rover V8 with some fettling and isn't much more reliable, lol.

 

That would make it a GT6 (The car I preferred to the stag from the Triumph stable) with a boot :D
