After a couple of rad flushes, decided to attempt to flush the engine block via the top hose.

Once the hose was off I noticed that the top part of the plastic connection to the radiator had broken off.

Is there a quick fix or will I need a new rad?:sweatdrop:

I have a good OE radiator just taken off my manual TT, £35 delivered, if you wanted to go that route.

Thanks for the Link Slick Pete. (too rich for me I'm afraid):sweatdrop:

Baz, Very interested, any chance of a couple of pictures please?:blushing:

Heres a couple of pics for you one front and one back, theres a few bent fins but in general its in good condition and works perfectly, only removed it as I'm swapping my engine and I've got my old uprated rad to go in.

BTW the nismo rad cap doesnt come with it, unless you add a tenner lol :whistling:

Little tip for anyone, always undo the rad pipe where it meets the engine or this can happen. Its quite common for this to happen when that end of the hose is disturbed.

am i right in thinking that the jap rads are metal ends not plastic?

They are all plastic mate (well OEM are). Very common problem that, I had mine snap too, luckily came across a brand new boxed OEM radiator for 50 quid :)
