SIX days to clear a parcel.......

 

This is a parcel from the US. It was sent USPS cos its fairly cheap in a flat rate box.

It would be quite speedy too if it wasnt for the jobsworths at HM Customs taking six days to clear it.

Then the plonkers at Parcel Farce take over. Withholding the item(illegally) and writing to tell me how much to pay.....

FFS I ordered the stuff electronically why dont Parcel Farce E-mail me their charges......:censored:

RANT OVER.

Tell me about it mate, I'm expecting a parcel from Japan (a single Bride seat rail, so not that big that it should cause any major dramas). It was sent on 23rd July.

 

I've got the details of where and when it was despatched in Japan and can see clearly how efficient their postal system is compared to ours, as it had gone through several departments within 24hrs, and left Japan within 48hrs.

 

I'm now waiting on HM customs to figure when they are going to release it to me.......:cursing:

6 Days is nothing, cannot remember the name of the couier but it took them 2 weeks for me to get my item and thats in the uk :lol::lol:

That was it.. Collect+ avoid using them at all costs :lol:

Why do you think they are holding it illegally?

That's the trouble when it falls into Parcelforce's hands as they charge a delivery fee about £9.00 plus the customs charge.

What value was the item in sterling?

I know ups deliver it to your door and ask for COD, that way you dont get a delay.

At least with Parcelforce you can pay the charges online
