Have we or any other club got a stand at this? Santa Pod Sunday September 18th, anyone going from here?

Are you going Pabs? If I get to park up with other Zeds' and get some photo's i'll pop along for a couple of hours. Got a Help for Heroes charity gig saturday evening so can't camp.

Let me think about it for a bit, i'll sleep on it.....lol

 

I'm not working saturday so it's a possibility, maybe...

 

If you want come up with us it's 6.45am at fleet services London Bound for a Mcdonalds breakfast and the convoy up.

If you wear the hat Andy i'm a definate. Possibly Maybe in all Likelyhood if it's dry.

ouch mr B. this is all supposed to be light fun, don't go taking what i say personally. i'm just having a laugh. As for my car though........ had it on drift events over 10 times this year, and has done well, so hoping to continue the success on drag.

 

I just enjoy using it, and making improvements. yes i'm miles off you in terms of power/ lightness. but hey, at least i'm out there using it. rather than having it as a sunday driver ( not a dig)

 

I thought I was having light hearted fun lol. Seriously though, I'm only at the strip to improve my times so that I am more competitive at TOTB and I want to concentrate on getting better rather than 'competing'. I will almost certainly be competing in either time attack or hill climb next year depending on funds and that along with TOTB is my priority. The main point I was trying to make earlier is that there really will be quite a lot of zeds at santa pod this weekend and you could race to your hearts content :) There's a drag challenge run by Mr F and we have our own 1/4 mile leader board so there are lot's of challenges to be met if you really want it.

I agree! I will be racing my previous PB of 13.72 and nothing else. It would be cool to do it next to another Z just for the video though.

Hi Chris was there today ,Andy/brokeback was all set up camping,he wanted to show me his sleeping quarters in his tent but i declined.Had to dodge the rain today but still enjoyed it.Looking forward to tomorrow i will be there early and parked up near show and shine area with Andy and the Hampshire Jap car club see you tomorrow mate.Hopefully there will be some nice zeds turn up.

No, unfortunately i didnt make it up the strip due to getting there later than planned & the 2 hour wait to go up it! Rain delay didnt help either. Had some fun the drifting area though :-)

 

Was good to see Andy (thanks for sortin stand pass & the burger;-)

 

Always good to cath up with me ol' mate Chris (Artztogo) in the show & shine and see a couple of Zeds including the old Datsuns going up the strip.

 

Great day had by all, we should really get a stand there in the future, we used too! Sort it out Vods ;-)
