I'm just curious, has anyone fitted a different internal mirror to the normal zed one??

Good question and I would love to know as the current one is pathetic (my 14 year old Micra has a nicer one!) and is also not in very good condition.

A chunkier and better looking mirror would be most welcome.

It would be cool to put a nice auto dimming mirror from a BMW or similar, the E36 rear view mirror with auto dim is quite nice, and not to out of period for the zed.

Would need a power supply though - surely couldnt be that hard to do supply from the interior light perhaps?

That's a good idea mate :thumbup1:

Never really thought about it until now, suppose the stock one is a bit dated and weedy.

That is exactly my plan. Was actually thinking about an auto dim one from a jeep grand Cherokee wj. Mine was nice but I don't know if you could for it up right so it doesn't look crap.

Artztogo has, well its a bigger clip on one that goes over the OEM mirror, makes a substantial difference to what you can see out the rear window.

I always feel im trying to see through a letter box when looking in the OEM one.

I'm not sure how chris's looks but I think if you don't get the right cover one I don't know if it'll look right or not

Chris's is fantastic and sits well, i find it just right, ask him to have a look at JAE if your going.

i had the stick on one from a mondeo in mine after mine broke. It gave a nice wider view.

Thanks fellas, do you think it would be easier enough to fit a mirror from a different car?
