Only had one key and I managed to lose it on friday, along with the keys for the extra security locks for the rear.

Van is sat imobile on a customers drive 30 miles away, and been there 4 days now!! Meaning I couldn't work all bank holiday.

Trying to get a code of Fiat, never mind a key is proving nigh on impossible. Might just have cracked it though by tracing the vans history myself and finding it was an Irish import. The lady in Ireland couldn't have been more helpful :cool3:

But just incase there are any auto locksmiths on here I shall keep my opinions on those to myself.

Looking like costing me about 200quid on top of 3 days lost wages. So pissed off right now.

Cheers fellas. I shall be finishing the job where the van is stranded today so hopefully i'll get a key at some point. I should be getting the all important code from Fiat at some point this morning. 42quid alone just for that!!

Just a thought Dave - does your insurance policy provide cover for lost keys? Some do, but it might affect your NCB if you claim....

Good luck with getting it sorted,

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
