The first time i took a few hoses off and realised there was so much more to disconnect.

Today i tried again and got everything i thought off, then realised theres stuff bolted underneath

How am i supposed to get all the underside back on (if i manage to get it off) on the refit.

Ive put it all back together again now, but damn. It looks so easy on all the pics with the engine out.

Easier if you have done the water bypass. The best thing to do is to make sure you can seat it properly before you put the gasket on, or you might knacker it moving it about, but basically get the pass side pcv hose connected first as the other side there is a little more play in the pipe connected to the hose, then 8 bolts down through the plenum, side brackets 2 bolts each (top) for the plenum, connect the water hoses etc, it depends how far youve gone with the water bypass or not.

I think someones already done the bypass, theres some hoses with nothing on, but im not sure how much they took out. It took me an hour to get to where i was and i couldnt believe how much there was on it.

I was gonna take it off to paint it and paint the covers, ive got all the gaskets ready, just to much of a jesse to try it again now :D

i had mine off in just over an hour and that was my first attempt and i dont have a water bypass i dont think but i do have the EGR valve removed so maybe this is whats causing you problems?

I think most of the pipes are egr or pvc related, still unsure whats what and what i can remove. I planned to do alot of deleting whilst i had the space, i assume it would be easier to put back than it is to get off.

Where abouts in beds are you?? might be able to pop over at the weekend and give you a hand if you want?

If I were you I'd see if you can get a fellow member to help you and perhaps get some beers in.

In fact I think Craig is near you.

Always happy to help.
