getting code 54 on OBD scantech nissan, i take it my autotransmission ecu is buggered?

tried that, but could also be the AT ECU as i cant communicate with it.

 

Mikey its a auto still lol.

I managed to communicate with mine, even though its manual now, so when i come up on monday, try mine out. I dont think the auto ECU is any different for a TT and N/A, but im sure we will find out lol

think the next thing to find out then, is how long the AT ecu cable is, though by that point i think id have the manual gearbox in.

There is many variations of th ecu for the autobox, all of the below have different part numbers and have slightly different change characteristics.

 

Ian do you have power at the ecu?

 

1 Twin turbo import 1990 to 1993

2 Twin turbo import 1993 to 1996

3 Twin turbo import 1996 on

 

4 Non turbo import 1990 to 1992

5 Non turbo import 1992 to 1994

 

 

6 Twin turbo UK 1990 to 1993

7 Twin turbo UK 1993 to 1996

Jeff i have no idea matey, all i know is im showing the same symptoms of auto box failure on 2 complete different boxes with the same ECU code showing even after code resets.
