are all the clutch master cylinder the same?

Im just wondering are TT clutch MC the same as NA if not what has to be changed to put a TT one on a NA.

Im sure from memory the bleed nipples were in different places making me think they could be different.

Featured Replies

NA and TT differ due to the Vacuum assistance servo.

The Rod and connection differ. The NA version connects straight to Brake pedal box. The TT version connects to Servo.

ah yes of course i remember seeing it now i have a feeling my master cylinder may be goosed as having problems bleeding the system and ive got a braided hose fitted so only 2 bleed points but still air.

does your master cylinder have a bleed nipple on the top next to the Pot ?

as i had to bleed it there 1st then down on the slave ...

yeah it does i gave it a little go from the top first and wasnt getting much air i havent even broke into the system though only changed the clutch ill try another crack tomorrow

Check your slave cylinder, i found mine was not coming out all the way, so had to lube it and keep pushing it in and with the pressure of the pedal, back out. Once it was freed, it bled really easily.
