thinking of removing my bumper bar on the front of the z, just to save weight on the front of the car is there any side affects like will the car be weaker at the front under hard braking/cornering etc, its mostly a track day car

I removed mine ages ago as my bumper wouldnt sit properly and had no ill effect.

was there much weight in it and can i refit the lights without it

mine was removed on my old orange one to fit the bodykit lights were then fitted to the bumper

Its actually quite light, it looks to be made of some sort of fibrous material and no you wont be able to bolt the fogs back in without it.

cheers might take it off and see what weight is in it, its not fouling me bumper just want to remove more weight from the front of the car

I removed mine when I put the Z on a diet, all these light things add up.
