Small world or what, was talking with a mate who has a breaker yard in Birmingham and he mentioned a zed they had in so thought I take a look and surprise its an old forum zed and has a Zedworld cambelt sticker on to boot!

 

Sure you guys will recognise it....well before the damage that is, the shiney bits had already gone from the engine...to guys here I understand, you know who you are you lucky devil, got a bargain.

Maxsunny is the original forum owner and creator of its looks, and then it was owned by Tizer, and I believe it had a couple of other owners after that before its eventual demise.

Jeff do you know if the engine is for sale?. Would be interested in its still got tubs n injectors in it.

It was a quick car, i fitted that engine in it with steve.

Well presently concidering a deal on the whole car so, as ever everything is for sale, the engine ran before the bling was removed however I was not there so can only confirm its started and and ran, would be checking it over anyway.

 

Will let you know in a day or so.

Ok, will keep a eye out for any updates. After the hours we put into that engine its a shame to see it like that :-(.

carbon bonnet , carbon fan shroud and windscreen trims scuttles in good nick..what a shmae to see tizers old car like that ..i hope the thieving toe rags really hurt themselves and limp for the rest of their miserable lives

some people should not be allowed to drive cars like that.:mad2:

they obviously cant handle the power.

i just cant believe those photos

its like loosing a family member

that car was so special..it drew a crowd everywhere it went.

it had a stance unlike any other zed i have come across, and obviously the special paint job it had.

i spent hours of work on that car (and dave zx) and money

to see it end up like that is just heart breaking

Im not too sure mate. The guys at the breakers yard don't know either. But someone certainly took the boot build and the whole stereo system out etc. I was going to call you but dont have your number any more.

 

I have to say though, if it was the owner I would assume they'd have stripped the shiny bits from the engine bay too so I recon the stereo etc was probably nicked and they didn't see under the bonet. Send me a txt mate to 07832169500 and ill give you a bell shortly

enjoying the car, but not the fuel costs

its worse than a zed on fuel

mine is much better, getting about 65 miles to £20, can drop to 45-50 with a bit of spirited driving, i do love the roof down aswell
