That's what I thought but then I was having second thoughts about the reading of the 2nd lambda...

no mate no need to map it. just when upping boost really:)

the fuel map will be ample for the extra breathing with a free flow intake and reduced restrictions of a free flow exhaust , no need to re map ..IF however you increase the boost levels ..fit boost controller or boost jets, then a re map is the safe way to go

As others have skillfuly explained you have no need to remap when changing just an exhaust component, the mapping, chip, or eprom (choose a name) alterations are only required when raising boost due to the fueling and ignition changes.

 

2nd lamba ? no 2nd lamba, the zed is old school in terms of this and does not have the level of emission control that later 0B2 equiped cars have so no concerns there either.

Absolutely sterling answer :)

Think mines had a chipped ecu or something as it's running about .8 bar (11.8 psi?) peaks and holds at 8 too so I wouldn't think boost jets

I think you mean the cat temp sensors, on the cats? No need to replace or refit them, just chop them off, cover the ends of the wires and shove them up the hole they came from matey...
