Last football match I went to see was a friendly between Lincoln and Newcastle... it was Alan Shearers debut game for newcastle, does that suggest I haven't been for a while lol

I hate football myself Allan, but surprisingly I have been to the odd match or two....

When I lived in London, Tottenham was the nearest top flight team to me (as Leyton Orient was/is very low in the pecking order); so most of the kids in my school were either Tottenham, West Ham or Arsenal fans. A few of my mates were Tottenham supporters so I did join them in the odd trip to White Hart Lane back in the 1980s.

I have also been to see Norwich City at home whilst staying with my cousin in Norfolk as a teenager.

Despite not being a football fan, I did enjoy the atmosphere of actually being there, seeing it live in front of me!

I hope you have a good time mate - and that Sunderland win for you. That would certainly make it all the more enjoyable......

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Hey Alan, you will love the Sunderland/Newcastle derby mate! Its definately one of the most anticipated and exiting games in the premiership! No love lost there at all! Should be a cracking atmosphere! Hope you enjoy it! :)

Couldnt agree more.....thats like pure hatred! Got nothing to do with football either! :scared:

I can remember years ago with the Cardiff/Swansea games and they were not as bad as the Rangers/Celtic games, but I can tell you there was no love lost there either! All the away fans were banned for years!
