About a week and a half ago my motor developed cold running issues!

Starts first time but runs like older cars do without the choke out!!

Will stall sometimes but generally keeps idling, just. Runs poorly until up to temperature then appears to be pretty normal.

While cold, she runs poorly but responds better when accelerating harder, though sometimes farts a bit getting there lol!

Any clues and advise gratefully received.

I see two senders side by side at the front. As you face them is it the one on the right or left?

Ta in advance

Typo!

the big one on the left is the sender to the ecu (has two wires) and the smaller one on the right is the temp sender to the gauge (one wire)...

Thanks matey, I'll give it clean up and see if it makes a difference.

Sensor terminals all cleaned up, (didn't look bad anyway to be fair) but no difference.

Given the symptons above do you think its too rich or too lean?

If it's too rich wouldn't i just flood when I throttle it? Whereas it actually picks up when I do that.....

Hi,

well has Jeff will tell you there are so many things that can cause problems, he has many posts on here describing issues and fixes....

to start with you can check all the connections you can find, e.g. CAS, TPS, MAS, PTU, coilpacks..etc

here are a couple of link to another side that describes some issues, checks and things to do.

unfortunately Isle of Wight is a long way from Birmingham (Zedworld)...... so unless you can find someone good more locally and or you can't get it sorted I'd take it to them...
