just read the other post . i,d drain the oil and stick a decent 10/40 in . see how that goes .

Did you replaced the oil pump ? Is it still the same oil pump as it was when the engine seized? May be there was an oil supply problem at the first place caused big end to fail.

The oil pump was fully tested before refit. One thing we have realised is we may not have flushed out the oil cooler enough and some dirt may have found its way down to the crank and worn the shells.
