A mate of mine had a desire. It had a fault that made it turn itself on and phone people at random! As a train driver we can get sacked for using a phone when we are driving so the day it phoned his manager was the day it went in the bin :thumbdown:

i have the desire hd,,fantastic phone,very quick and runs very smooth,seems a little big when you first get it,but u get used to it,,dont get the sony.

If you can stretch the funds,get the htc sensation,as its dual core and runs very quick.

I really dont get it. Has mr apple personally visited some people and killed their dog? Why do people hate them so much?

 

The iphone is a class piece of kit and basically introduced the world to a whole new level of mobile phone. I have tried many other smartphones and to me they are overthought, over complicated, over sized and ugly.

 

To say the iphone is crap quality is ridiculous.

i didnt say the i-phone was crap (did i) i just didnt fancy one, i iked the sony erricson x10 as ive had a lot of sony's and have been great

 

i am disapointed with the camera on my x10 ut it does suffice

 

i wanted shell to get the sony but she doesnt like the look of it, she likes the htc

 

my mate had the nokia and hateed it, full of problems

Well I will still refrain from saying anything about Apple, but I upgraded the firmware on my Galaxy S yesterday to Android 2.3.3 and it's like an entirely different phone! I was well pleased with it before the upgrade, now I'm over the moon!

 

Must go back to biting tongue about iphone...................will not say anything.................mumblemumblemumble..................leaves thread!

Yes mine too,X10i , upgraded to 2.3 Gingerbread and its like having a new phone, great to see they included Adobe Flash , using the phone as wifi hotspot ,and a few other things, mind you Sony were not going to release 2.3 at first but they buckled under huge pressure from forums etc, if they had not released it i was going to flash/hack it to the lates OS of Android,Had the phone 12 months and never had a problem, my wife has the iPhone, great phone , but i too like Sony, great reliabilty, and Android seems more intuative, better interaction and different.I actualy like the camera, 10.3 mega pxel is enough for me and so far great pics and video.

U missed one out.... the android rom I am using at the min is 3.1 and its name is honeycomb

I've had the htc desire for a 18months now i love it to bits its great, upgading this month to the htc sensation, battry life isnt the best though but i think its the same with all the smart phones unfortunatley
