changing interior parts

I have a full retrim lined up to modernise the inside of the zed.

I quite fancy swapping a few parts for parts from other cars. How easy would this be?

I was thinking,

Door handles

Window switches

Door air vents

I've seen examples i like and will suit the zed. Will they be a strighforward swap? The interior guys will make them fit, but in terms of them being operational....

I think you'll have to list the examples from what car you've seen with regards fitment advice.

I would say those three parts you list would be fairly easy to change just requires some fabrication skill and knowledge. Not convinced it'd be worth the effort but hey I'm a function over form kinda guy.

Good luck

I know what you mean. Thing is i dont want a nice new interior with crappy old ugly door handles etc. The handles and vent covers are from a scirocco

oooh don't forget that Z door locks are integrated into the handle design so preferably a handle with similiar concept and get the actuators that go with the locks for the new handle.
