but anyway for a laugh this is my email from footman James for a 1.8lt Renault laguna

i only pay 330 on my 300zx, im 33 with 2 kids with no convictions and a clean licence, lol

i have had quotes a lot lower than that though, but this was the highest for that car.

ooh and that excludes the driving other cars bit on the policy, needless to say, i didn't go with footman James.

+1 for Footman James they blew Lynbrook and anyone else to pieces for me.

£230 a year on a SWB TT and I was 26 when I took the policy out, 4000 miles a year.

Just checked footman James. Won't be getting an online quote there then lol

'vehicle is not modified'

'vehicle is not an import'

im with footman james to £254 for a year compared to £1000 from admiral which was the cheapest i could find

don't say that, I've paid it now ha.

nah I'm in cooldown period but whilst there is the potential to save I accept that whilst I'm now 23, I'm still young and with 1 years no claims, and a accident prior to that there ain't a lot of people fighting for my business lol so daft prices and been unable to quote me gets tiresome after a while, in my eyes the deal I've got is fantastic :)

LoL @ "Multiquote" .... you expect they would give you a discount for insuring 2 cars, all they did is add the 2 premiums together !

Perhaps they swapped them round thinking you would think you got a good deal, I am sure some companies just make up prices on the spot

Seriously though, I never found mainstream sites good for insuring the Zed while I was trying for quotes.

Although my quote from Lynbrook wasn't as good as some on here (despite my circumstances being as near good as you can get) it was the best I found.

I might have to try Footman James come renewal though, thanks Chaps

im 24 nearly 25 few weeks away. 3 point 3 years no claims one small bump 5 years ago due to come off at xmas and im paying 800 fully comp with teh abilty to drive other cars(i need this cos i borrow my mrs car etc, or we share long jounerys. shes only 20 so adding me to her policy just whacks it up even more.) that was with adrain flux, im paying pretty much teh same as i was paying 2 years ago when i brought the damn thing even with the added no claims...... few years mate we will get half decent insurance they just hate us youngens or love what ever way you look at it.

I have Multicar on 3 cars and I insured all 3 for just a few quid more than the best quote I could get anywhere else for 21 year old daughters Clio

Me - B3 Alpina was paying £700

Wife Freelander was paying £350

Daughter best quote £1,150

Mulitcar

Me £340

Wife £220

Daughter £740

All fully comp Mine with business mileage and all 3 with breakdown cover

you get it if you call though mate as mine is both imported and modified

£563.76.

Apparently the alloys add 25% and the bodykit adds 25%. Yuk

£162 fully comp with £150 excess from Carole Nash and with full AA relay/home start membership. Might be worth a shot?

I don't get it. Nobody will quote me less than £490.

Fully comp, 8 years ncb, 3 points, non turbo, 5k miles a year. Crap!
